What You’ll Learn

“Net Zero” is the new frontier for global commercial real estate organizations seeking to make more aggressive commitments to reduce emissions in order to stabilize Earth’s climate. With devastating climate change impacts becoming ever more apparent in the world around us, industry leaders are boldly pursuing new Net Zero targets in a united effort to limit global temperature rise to below a 2°C.

This one-hour webinar from leaders within the industry maps out new targets from ULI Greenprint, Better Building Challenge and Science Based Targets, along with methods for how to achieve Net Zero targets through energy efficiency, power grid electrification, onsite and offsite renewables, embodied carbon and circular economy strategies. Practical case studies about CommonWealth Partners and Jamestown Properties highlight how to achieve Net Zero and work through challenges along the path.

Speakers include Becca Rushin, Vice President for Sustainability and Social Responsibility for Jamestown L.P., Jessica Loeper, Director of Sustainability for CommonWealth Partners, and representatives from Verdani Partners including Kelsey Ceccarelli, Associate Engineering Manager, and Daniele Horton, Founder and President, as moderator.
